English 400 Project

Well, here it is. The final result of this website. On the right you may find the 6 different pages that I have written and designed for you. (Again, sorry about the basic look of it…technology and graphic design are definitely not 2 of my fortes!) I do think it gets the point across, and will hopefully lead you to research this topic further. There are numerous links embedded within the pages that I hope you will look at – they are all very interesting ranging from politics to journals!

With all of that said, I have enjoyed working on this webpage. I hope that you find it interesting!

I turned in the final draft of the Research Paper just last night, and now is the time to move forward on this website.  I will be taking the different sections and points from the paper and creating pages for them.  They can be found on the upper right column of this page!  Feel free to check them out!  Again – I am quite new at creating websites and am not a “computer or technology person” so to speak, but I will do my best with images and videos.  This is such an important topic and it means so much to me – I hope that I am doing it justice!

Today I began working out the different pages on this website (look to the right!). Yes, there’s not a lot up there quite yet, but it will soon be looking much better and more complete! I had my bibliography and thesis conference today. I am really excited about starting this project and putting the word out there about home education. There are so many general misconceptions about it, the students, the parents… Being a product of home schooling myself, I’ve experienced it all. This blog and website, I hope, will help people to see past those misconceptions and further improve their ideas on home education and home schoolers. Anyways… Moving on!
